Assembling a get home bag

Something is wrong. You don't know what it is. Your car won't start. No planes over head. No sounds of cars on the highway.
Do you have a Get Home Bag? Do you have water? Can you make fire?

Having a get home bag is important when you are away from home.

A short 30 minute trip to the next town can turn into a two day journey for those physically fit. For those no so fit, a week long fight for survival.

Even those who are in great physical condition, a simple 10 minute trip to town could easily turn into several days depending on how many rivers you have crossed and the amount of destruction done to bridges and other infrastructure. This is the very reason why a get home bag could be essential to your survival.

In this You Tube video I show you the type of bag and content's I carry. This assembly is not EMP proof but none of the electronics are essential to my survival. The electronics in my get home bag are only for obtaining information during a disaster.
